Responding to the
Cry of the Poor and the
Cry of the Earth

Our Focus

ECHo nurtures and delivers collaboration with leaders and organizations who have built trust with underserved, vulnerable, and poor communities.

We work together with these organizations to design, seek funding for and, implement impact projects that are big and systemic enough to respond to climate change resilience, livelihood security and economic endurance.

We respond to the Cry of the Earth and the Cry of the Poor by transitioning underutilized land, facilities and buildings as we work with communities and reimagine how their human capacity may be realigned to create more environmentally sustaining and economically viable livelihoods.

“A true ecological approach always becomes a social approach; it must integrate questions of justice in debates on the environment, so as to hear both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. (Laudato sì 49)
