Equity and Inclusion in Commercial Real Estate Development

Equitable and Inclusive Investment in Real Estate Development

We have embarked on an extensive process to showcase model real estate projects that are big enough to create urban thriving for all communities.

Enabled through equitable investing, these models are designed systemically with communities in urban built environments.

We have started with a focus on real estate projects that improve the quality of life of marginalized communities, in Oakland California, by addressing the challenges of:

  • Inequality

  • Homelessness

  • Impacts of Climate change

  • Marginalization of the poor

  • Underinvestment in minority communities

“A technological and economic development which does not leave in its wake a better world and an integrally higher quality of life cannot be considered progress.” (Laudato sì 194)
